The Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association will be the featured nonprofit organization for the Williamsport Crosscutters' Aug. 1 game vs. the West Virginia Black Bears. Game time is 6:35 p.m. EST. As part of this promotion, the association will have a booth in the concourse with information about our work, a pregame interview and will get to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the game. "It is always great to connect with new people in the community about our work, the importance of clean water and protecting the resources of the Susquehanna River," said Riverkeeper John Zaktansky. "We'd love to pack the stands with people who love our river and want to help make a difference across the 11,000-square-mile watershed we serve." This includes a 30-second video advertisement during pregame festivities at the stadium for every home game (see above) and a half-page ad in the Crosscutters program (shown below).
