Community Partners

Picture
The Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association's Community Partners Program allows our association to celebrate local businesses, individuals and groups for their vital partnership and assistance with us each year.

As a business/individual/group/nonprofit shares interest in joining our Community Partners Program, we incorporate the donor into the tiered incentive system based on how much was given and how well the partner lines up with the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association's (MSRKA) values and vision.

If approved by our board of directors, the partner will be provided with a sticker and flyers with information about the MSRKA. We recommend placing these in areas where customers or passers-by can easily view them. Partners will also have the option of donating annually to the MSRKA, with added benefits in a tiered five levels of partnership:

  • Level 1: Minimum annual donation of $25. Your business/individual/group/nonprofit will be provided with an MSRKA Community Partner window cling and flyers to place inside your location.
  • Level 2: Minimum annual donation of $100. Your business/individual/group/nonprofit will be listed on the Community Partners page of our website and receive mention in bimonthly social media posts by the MSRKA as we thank those who partner with us.
  • Level 3: Minimum annual donation of $250. Your business/individual/group/nonprofit name and logo will become part of a growing donors poster displayed at all MSRKA events for the year. It will include general contact info so people can easily contact you after the event.
  • Level 4: Minimum annual donation of $500. Increased opportunity for representation of your business/individual/group/nonprofit at MSRKA events, as approved by the MSKRA Board of Directors. Special mention in one of our email newsletters.
  • Level 5: Minimum annual donation of $1,000. Special blog post about your business/group/nonprofit's dedication to our river-based resources, to be shared across MSRKA's extensive social media network. Where warranted, a podcast conversation about your passion for these resources and how you are working to make a difference.

Other incentives may be suggested in place of the ones listed and will be considered by the MSRKA Board of Directors. Again, our main goal is to find partners within our vast watershed that share our desire to promote and protect the region's river-based resources -- and to highlight their excitement and passion for these resources.

The MSRKA reserves the right to end a partnership if it is determined that values don't align with the association's mission and vision.

If you have any questions, suggestions or other feedback on our Community Partners initiative, contact program managers Morgan Thomas ([email protected]) or Kelly Caudle ([email protected]). You can also contact Riverkeeper John Zaktansky ([email protected]) at 570-768-6300.
