PA Fish & Boat Commission Susquehanna River Biologist Geoff Smith will offer a presentation on March 11 in Williamsport to discuss the research findings and status of the health of the Susquehanna River's fisheries, including the concerns over fluctuations in the smallmouth bass and other species populations. Smith did his undergraduate work here at Lycoming College and is very knowledgeable in the issues affecting fish in our local rivers and streams.
The Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited encourages the public to attend and learn about the commission's important role in conserving our environmental and recreational resources and share their thoughts, concerns and ideas. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. at the Covenant Central Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, at the rear of 807 West Fourth Street in Williamsport (enter off of Campbell St.)
