As things shut down amidst the coronavirus situation, the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association is planning a series of informational videos over the days and weeks to come. The first looks at what a watershed is and how we can have a huge ripple effect within the Middle Susquehanna watershed.

Here is a map of the Susquehanna River watershed -- one of six watersheds that cover Pennsylvania. The Middle Susquehanna region starts where the Penns Creek enters the Susquehanna River below Selinsgrove and runs up through the North and West branches.

Springs, streams and creeks throughout more than 20 counties feed into the Susquehanna River throughout the region. The Susquehanna River than channels all the water southward to the Chesapeake Bay and then Atlantic Ocean.
