After sorting through numerous online feedback forms, numerous discussions among board members and other parties connected to the Songs of the Susquehanna project, the official list of songs and artists selected for Volume 2 is now available.

Twenty songs have been chosen from the 58 submitted and will be turned over to regional musician Kimbo Reichley for professional mastering and compilation to develop our official Volume 2 CD, and we are working on an online download option for this album, as well.
"It was extremely difficult to determine the final playlist -- a sign that the quality of music throughout this project was top-notch," said Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper John Zaktansky. "We factored in online responses, our board members' opinions and other elements to choose a very unique, diverse set of songs for this album."

All submitted songs are still available to listen to for a limited time at this webpage. We have included the names of the musicians behind the music to celebrate their hard work.

The songs, pulled from the order they were displayed during feedback, which will be on Volume 2 of the Songs of the Susquehanna will include:

  • Susquehanna Springs by Benn Keller
  • Beyond the Riverbend, composed by Robert Sheldon, performed by the Repasz Band
