Our Songs of the Susquehanna project is in its sixth year. It was developed as a way to raise awareness about all facets of the river and the watershed it sustains while offering an additional platform for our region's extremely talented musicians to share their craft. It has evolved into a way for people of all skill levels to express their love of the Susquehanna, its history and our need to protect this valuable resource and the aquatic ecosystem connected to it.
Each year, we encourage musicians of all backgrounds, skill levels, genres, etc., to submit original songs inspired by the Susquehanna, its tributaries and/or the creatures that depend on these resources. We are currently are seeking feedback on 2026 submissions to help us select the Volume 6 album collection. More on that below!

2026 song feedback
Here are the submissions for 2026. Please listen to each and then fill out the form below. Everyone who takes time to check out the songs and fill out the form in full will be entered into a drawing for some cool prizes, including tickets to one of our Floating Classrooms this coming summer aboard the Hiawatha Paddleboat as well as access to a new river songs concert related to this project.
There may be a few additions to the end of the list, but they will have less time to gather feedback for the final decision than songs originally placed on the list.

The 2025 album is a special project, offering a two-disc, 30-song "Greatest Hits" experience with 15 new songs from the submissions provided in 2024/25 and 15 of the most popular songs from the four previous albums mixed in. Check out 20 of the 46 original river-inspired songs submitted into our inaugural Songs of the Susquehanna project. This collection includes a great variety of genres, stories and information that helps engage the listener with the environmental, recreational, therapeutic and historical elements of our river and its tributaries. CDs are available for pickup at 112 Market Street, Sunbury, or can be sent to you in the mail.
